China set to open the foremost terrific paseo in the world, at a dizzying height of 980ft and it's made from GLASS. The Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon walk is ready to smash records to be the world's longest and highest glass-bottomed bridge.

Designed by Israeli creator Haim Dotan, the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge is ready to be completed in july, with an official opening in october. Spanning 2 cliffs within the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon space, it'll stretch 430 meters (1,410 feet) long and 6 meters (20 feet) wide, hovering over a 300-meter (984-foot) vertical drop.

In comparison, the grand Canyon skywalk within the US is 21 meters (69 feet) long and stands 219 meters (718 feet) on top of the canyon floor. Canada's glacier walk in Canadian province, that opened last year, extends 35 meters (115 feet) from the formation.

The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie walk will supply the world's highest bungee cord jump, stealing the title from macau Tower's 233-meter (764-foot)-high attraction.
