Shooting of Mani Ratnam's Ravana banned - Monday, October 13 2008
|
The Kerala Forest Department has stopped the shoot of Mani Ratnam's Tamil, Telugu and Hindi tri-lingual Ravana on Friday. The shooting was being held in the forest areas of Mulankuzhi in Malayatoor forest range near Kochi in Kerala for the past one week.
Usually film shootings are
not allowed in these places as the state govt had announced these spots as
eco-tourism centers. But Mani Ratnam had got special permission from the
Govt through some of his communist connections. The govt gave permission to
him to conduct the shooting for 25 days continuously. |
