Vijay TV Launches Kallikaatu Pallikoodam

Vijay TV which had brought a whiff of fresh air in the fiction space is all set to raise the bar again with the launch of the fiction series ‘Kalli Kaatu Pallikoodam’ As the name suggests the story is based in a village in Madurai district with the story of a School and its students . Set among lush field paddy fields, misty mountains this serial bears the soul of a small sleepy village near Theni.

The plot of the story:

A story set in Theni district and shot completely in and around Theni. Kumaraguruparar School is the centre of action , a school where Discipline, Education, Knowledge form the core qualities , it is a dream-come-true situation for all children in and around Madurai and Theni districts to get admission in to this institution Kariappati students are no exception top this aspiration. But due to a long-drawn quarrel between two towns, Kariappati children are banned from studying in Kumuraguruparar School. But the Principal of Kumuaraguruparar Higher Secondary School does not succumb to such social pressures. Keeping in mind only education and its importance, he decides to give admission to the deserving and this is the cause of friction which is to ensue. Kariappati students are more than happy to get this news, but the students of Kumuaraguruparar Higher Secondary School detest the very thought of them entering their school.

Can the students of Kariappati town cope up with the pressure of them being not wanted in the School by the majority of the students? Kallikaatu Pallikoodam carries the all footprints of a Village School , the noisy classes under the tree, the slow paced life style around , the dreams which they carry in their wide starry eyes , all this us sure to carry the audiences into another world , a world where life remains simple till date .

“Kallikaatu Pallikoodam” is a story which has strains of melancholy and dreams of school kids which they carry in their burdened bags, airing Monday – Friday, 7:30pm on Vijay TV.
