Nakheel Tower To Beat The Records Of Burj Dubai Tower
22th Jan' 2010,

The Nakheel tower is new world's tallest skyscraper pushing the Burj tower to the second position. It was proposed in 2003 as the centerpiece of Palm Jumeirah, one of the world's largest man-made palm shaped islands. Now its location is changed and the developer Nakeel, the creator of man-made islands in Dubai has planed to build the tower measuring over 1 kilometer (0.62 miles), high in an area between two of the city’s artificial palm shaped islands. It is expected to be completed by 2020.
The Nakheel Tower will have 200-storey and around 150 lifts. The building will also have enough cooling capacity to air-condition more than 14,000 modern homes. It will be so tall that it experiences five different microclimatic conditions over its height. The temperature in the atmosphere at the top of the building could be as much as 10 degrees cooler than the bottom.
