Malika Menard From Normandy | Crowned As Miss France 2010

Miss France 2010, the 63th Miss France pageant was held on Nice on December 5, 2009. For the first time since 1987, Miss France was crowned by vote given by viewers. At the beginning there were 37 contestants, they were reduce to 12 by experts and from 12 it was reduced to 5 by judges. The Miss France 2010 was broadcasted live on France major private TV channel. It was viewed by more than 8 million people and the final winner was left to the hands of the TV viewers through vote.
Miss Malika Menard, 22 is a third year law student was selected as the winner. She is 5 ft 9 in (176 cm) tall. The runner up was Miss Rhone-Alpes, 23, studying her master’s degree in marketing. Malika Menard of Normandy, was crowned Miss France 2010 by outgoing titleholder Chloe Mortaud of Albigeois Midi-Pyrénées (5th Runner-Up at Miss Universe 2009 and 3rd Runner-Up of Miss World 2009).
The future plans of Malika Menard are to represent the country at Miss Universe 2010 in July 2010 and at Miss World 2010 in Nha Trang, Vietnam on November 2010.
